Click here for a kid friendly website with some info on Hispanic Heritage Month. There is info to read and a piñata concentration game I've shown in class...it was a hit!

When you play the games how much candies do you have to win to get a prize or something??????? When did you first start speaking Spanish???? What made you think of teaching Spanish???? How high can you count in Spanish????? What is your favorite thing about Spanish????? How many words do you know in Spanish????? I have to go now BYE!!!!!! -A.m (4l)
I think you have to play 3 rounds of the game to win "dulces." I started speaking español in second grade. In high school I loved my Spanish teacher and it made me want to learn the language and teach it to others. I can count pretty high...maybe to a million. It is tough to count the words I know in español, but I try to learn a new one every day!
You can read about Mexico's Independence Day and how they celebrate on this website.

Mexico became independent almost 200 years ago, so that makes them almost 200 years old! However, indigenous peoples lived there before that, remember talking about the Aztecs in class?
Some of the games are really fun! -R.L. (3G)
