We celebrated Mexico's Independence Day on September 16, 2009. Ask a kindergarten student to tell you about verde, rojo, y blanco (white)! Ask a second grader to tell you why the aguila (eagle) is in the center of the bandera (flag).

Welcome to my blog! Teachers...are you curious about what your students do when you drop them off at my room? Do you wonder what the project is all about that they bring back to your class?
